NEW YORK - September 8 2022- New record breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% higher than in the year 2019.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening to any traveler regardless of the status of their vaccination in May this year Israel has seen more than 600,400 US travelers.
