NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and august. The country received 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was thrilling to witness an increase in tourism to Israel coming from the United States. נווה פריצקי Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019, he added. "The United States is our number one market for Israel's inbound tourism. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record number of tourists from Israel entering Israel every month. We are so happy to have witnessed an improvement in the trend, and we anticipate it to continue for a long time."
נווה פריצקי Not far behind the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourist arrivals in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 , and 6,000 in August.

Israel received more than 4.6 million international visitors in 2019 including 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless if they are vaccinated. It has already hosted more than 600,000.
